Special meeting of Village Council
Monday -- November 16 -- 4:30 P.M.
Present: JamesMaus, acting mayor, Richard Martie, Franz Swanberg,
William Sandberg.
Some time was spent discussing schedules and pay scales for the
maintenance department. Some time also spent discussing condition
and use of equipment. Discussion with Walter Mack and Richard
Brooks re hiring and duties of Brooks. Brooks starting salary will be
$600.00 per month and each maintenance man will take his turn to work
every 3rd week -end.
Suburban Gat applied for permit to install septic tank at their new
location on TATest 5th St. Motion made by Dick Martie, seconded by
Franz Swanberg that permit be granted for use until such time as
sewer line will be laid in the area. At that time Suburban Gas will
be required to hook on. Carried.
William Sandberg made motion that all bills be approved for payment
with exception of Civil Defense salary, Smith & Pringle, attorneys,
and Melchert and Melchert, attorneys. Motion seconded by Richard
Martie and carried.
Motion made by William Sandberg that audit of 1970 village records
be made by State Auditor instead of Gruys, Johnson & Assoc. Motion
lost for lack of a second. Request that this item be placed.on
agenda for December.
Motion for adjournment made by Franz Swanberg at 6:20 P.M., seconded
by Richard Martie,
