Gentlemn:
The Village of Monticello requested a continuance of
the Hearing for orderly annexation for the purpose of making
a final effort for merger. The Village Council feels,
unanimously, that the interests of all persons in our
community would.best be served by a merger of the Village
and Twonship. Merger being, in our opinion, the best
solution to the problem.
We, the Village Council, request that the township
board join with us in a joint resolution for merger.
May we have a response to our request in time for our
regular Council meeting on December 8th.
