Special Assessment Hearing Covering Streets Sewer. and Water Improvements
A special assessment hearing was held on June 17, 19719 at 8:00 p.m.
In attendance were, Mayor Ron Schlief, Councilmen: Sandberg, Martie,
Markl.ing, Maus. Also, in attendance were, Mr. Thore Meyer, village engineer,
and Mr. Phil Chenowirth.
Mayor Schlief introduced Mr. Meyer and Mr. Chenowirth, and at that time, "sir.
Thore Meyer went on to explain the engineering aspect of the street construction
and the sewer and water improvement.
Upon completion of this, Mr. Phil Chenowirth covered the financing of the
above programs. Ron entertained questions from the audience, and received
a number of questions, nearly 50 from different individuals concerning the
program. It was felt by the majority of the people in attendance that the
curb and gutter in not needed at this time, and the repair as needed, the
intersections and fixing of the present streets.
Upon completion of the question and answer session, the hearing was adjourned
at 9:45 p.m., motioned. by I-4arkling, and seconded by '4aus.
