City Council Minutes 09-17-1962 SpecialSeptember 17., 1962
Special meeting of the village council held this date in the village council room.
Menbers present Ojakangas,, Adams., Kasper & Swanson,, Absent- Baker,
Motion by Kasper to pay Stan's Electric $750.00 as first payment on the electrical
contract on the municipal equipment bldg. Seconded by Adams & carried,
Notion by Kasper to approve building permits for 'William, J. Estling to build a 24 X
24foot garage on lots 6 & 7 block 12 of lower Monticello; and for Hrs Ken Jahnke
to build a 20 X 44 foot house on top of her already existing basement house on lot
3 block 43. Seconded by Swanson & carried,
Notion by Adams to table request by Dick Dondhus for building permits to build a
30 X 60 foot house with double garage on lots 9 & 10 of block 22 and a 30 X 40 foot
shop on the bac& of lots 9 & 10 of block 22 until drawings ans statements fom neighbors
indicating no objection are produced. Seconded by Swanson and carried.
Motion by Swanson to renew vi-ILlZage liability insurance policy from H. N. Lungwitz
agency Seconded by Kasper and carried.
Motion by Adams to have Vie engineering furn, of Carter, Fxueger & Associates survay

the possibality of putting a sidewalk from downtovm area to the High School. Seconded
by Swanson and carried.
Motion by Kasper to purchase 50 double folding chairs from the Monticello Public
Schools for the sum of $50*00* Seconded by Swanson and carried.
I -lotion by Swanson to purchase 6 steel fobiling chairs and a table from KAxnek's furn-
iture subject to approval of cost by conmettee of Adams, Kasper & Swanson. Seconded
by Adams et carried.
