Special meeting of the village council held this date at 9:15 P.H. in the village hall
to canvass the results of the hospitol bond referendum election.
Motion by Kasper to certify the results of the election as follows: Total ffotes-516
Voting in favor- 449. Voting against -67. Seconded by Swanson & carried.
members present at this meeting Bake,, Kasper & Swanson. Absent- Ojakangas ,r Adams.

Seal coating bids were received as follows: Buffalo Bituminous of Buffalo- $8,525,00;
Blacktop Construction of xpls.- $6,936.25; Jay W. Craig of Mpls.- 08,525.00;
Christle & Cruzen of St. Cloud- 61820.00;'Custom Surfacing of Foley- %,200.00;
C. S. HcCrossen Ind. of Osseo- $7,730.00; Surma Bros. of Boirlus- $8070.00,
Acceptance of bid tabeled until investig_:lti on of low bidders equipment.
Keil. Larson requested a three months permit to have dancing in the bowling alley.
Yotion by Kasper to' grdnt Ken Larson permission to have four &,aces within the next
two months, Iiis permit to be revoked if conditions arr ize to show this to be a
trouble spot. No second.

I,iotion by BUker to hire E. Bland as part time police officer. Seconded by Swanson
carried.
Motion by Svranson to condemn the Tlark Daniels and lul_-99, IBaustad homes as fire hazords
and unfit for living with di struc tion of these homes delayed pending village attorneys
openion and permission from 'the welfare board. Seconded by Adams & carried.
The clerk has been :instructed to put a notice in the Monticello Tames inforn ng dog
oi.�ners that they should pick up their 1963 tags.

Swanson and carried. Adams voting , against.
Adams, Baker & Swanson ifel�e appointed as a committee to draw up an ordinance regulating
trailor parks in the village 'and to present this ordinance at the next rzeeting.
Motion by Kasper to approve the folloyring building permits: Jerome Baen to build a
52 X26 ft« house with attached garage on lots 8 & 9 of block 45. Tilde Lauring to
build a 26 X34 ft. two bedroom house on lot 4 block 30.Seconded by Baker & carried,
l otion by Suanson to tr ansf er 0800,00 from the water fund to the waterworks sinking
frind and 01,000.00 from the liquor fund to the general. fund. Seconded by Adams & carried.
Yot-ion by Baker to approve bills as read with the exception of the bill to Jay W. Craig
for repairing streets, 01.000.00 should be witheld from this bill until inspection
by the council. Seconded by Swanson & car--ied,
Request received Brom Rev. Kallevig to install a drain to remove the water standing
on the street in -front of the Assenbley of God church. Tabeled until an estimate of
cost could be obtained.
The clerk was instructed to put a notice in the Eonticello Times informing village
residence that the deadline date for coinaecting to the village sewage system is
July 1, 1964, This notice to appear in the paper once monthly,
Motion by Adams to tentitively accept the application of Jay 1 iller as building
