Special meeting cf the village council held this date in ti -,e village hall.
Iyiembers present- Bergstrom, Kasper, Hadsen and Swanson. Absent- Adams.
Notion by Kasper to charge the IvIonticello-Big Lake Community hospital $1,850.00
as a service and hookup fee to connect to the village water, and to transfer approx-
imatly 33,000.00 from the liquor fund to the waterworks sinking fund and to issue
warrants in the amount of $4,000.00 or "5,000.00 and xith these moneys pay forthe
construction ofthe water extension on River street from Washington to Elm and Elm
street (vacated) frog: River to broadtiray streets, and the extension from the vicinity
of the tower to Vriird street. Motion seconded by Swanson ,,,nd carried unaxi-ai�lously.
T°Iotion by Swanson to Pc sept the lore bid on the waternain ex6nnsion and storm sewer
extensionpro j ects of Northdale Construction Co. in the amount of $10,743-30 total.
Seconded by Kasper and carried. `
Hotion by Madsen to appoint the following as election judges fort he primary election
to be held September 8, 1961 : Reta Soltau, Wm. Jongewaard, Maurice Murray, and Iiirs
Tony Garlid wit' 1-rs. C. I.. Sc-�anson as alternate. Seconded by Swanson and carried.
A. complaint was recieved of a lot on Broadway in Block 25 of Lower 1 onticello
having an open basement in poor condition with weeds and rats on this property.
Madsen was appointed to contact the h.e=llth. office, Dr. Ellison, to check on this.
