Jpecial meeting of the Village Council 'vias held tis tine and date at the
Village hall. .Members present Mayor Sandberg, Councilmen Kas-per, Topel, Schaffer,

and 3ehaffop, Swanberg. Members absent: None.
Motion by Coun(Ai l�ian Kasper to authorise the hiring of Mrs. Mary Arnold and Yrs
Alta Farnick as clerks in the Off Sale Store of the Monticello Liquor -Store, and
further that the above named clerks will be paid $1.75 per hour. Motion seconded
by Councilman Topel and -carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Sandberg, Councilmen Kasper
and Topel. Voting No: Councilmen Schaffer and Swanberg.
Notion by Councilmen Kasper to grant approval torr. Joseph Kra.utbauer for a
building, peryit to build an apartment house on lots 1 and 2. Block 38, Upper
,� Monticello, providing he presents plans and specifications for Council approval.
Motion seconded by Councilman Topel and carried. Voting yes. Councilman Kasper,
Topel, Schaffer, and Swanberg. Voting no. None.

Motion by Councilman Kasper,to approve of renewing the Skelly Oil Co. Building
Permit #14-1965. Cost of.emit xerce $45.00. Motion seconded by Councilman

Motion by Councilman Schaffer to approve of transferring $2025.63 from the Water.
Work Fund to the Waterworks Sinking Fund as set forth by the resolution to cover
repayment of Waterworks Revenue Refunding Bond of 1963 and the Waterworks Revenue
Bond of 1964 Mop seconded by Councilman Kasper and carried. Voting Yes:

Motion by Councilman Kasper to divorce Lot 9 and the westerly 50 feet of Lot 8,
Block 429 Upper Monticello, from prpperty-description (19815. This divorce section
is assigned the,nel roperty,description #19815A. The General Improvement Special
Assessment of 1961, and the Street, Curb and Gutter, Lights,and Sidewalk Improvement
of 1960 will be.pro rated according to front footage: 1-16 feet to description
#19815A and 16 feet to description #19815. Motion seconded by Councilman Topel and
carried: Voting yes: Mayor Sandberg, Councilmen Kasper, Topel , Schaffer, and
Swanberg. Voting no: None.
