AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MONTICELLO SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE SECTION 152.027—
PROCEDURE FOR FINAL PLAT, AND SECTION 152.061—EASEMENTS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 152.027 is hereby amended to read as follows:
(E) Recording final plat.
(1) If the final plat and development agreement are approved by the City
Council, the applicant shall record them with the County Recorder within 4:89
365 days after the approval or approval of the final plat shall be considered void,
unless a request for a time extension is submitted in writing and approved by the
Council. The applicant shall, immediately upon recording, furnish the Zoning
Administrator with a print and reproducible tracing of the final plat showing
evidence of the recording.
SECTION 2. Section 152.061 is hereby amended to read as follows:
(C) Width and location. An easement for drainage and utilities at least six feet
wide shall be provided along each sideline of each lot and an easement of 12
feet wide shall be provided along the front, side and rear line of each lot line
located along the perimeter of the plat.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to make the changes required by this Ordinance
as part of the Official Monticello City Code, Title XV, Subdivision Ordinance and
to renumber the tables and chapters accordingly as necessary to provide the
intended effect of this Ordinance. The City Clerk is further directed to make
necessary corrections to any internal citations that result from said renumbering
process, provided that such changes retain the purpose and intent of the Zoning
Ordinance as has been adopted.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall have full force and effect upon its passage and publication.
Adopting by the City Council of the City of Monticello, Wright County, Minnesota, this 1411 day
of March, 2022.
