MONTICELLO LIBRARY BOARD
January 22, 2007 - b:30 p.m.
Members Present: Tom Parker, Ralph Olson, Claudia Tollefson and Janet Bridgland
Members Absent: Chris Anderly, Council Liaison, Susie Wojchouski
Others Present: Debra Luken, Branch Manager and Joan Allen Regional Supervisor GRRL
Chair Tom Parker called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Claudia Tollefson and Janet Bridgland
were appointed to the Library Board.
Debra Luken, Branch Manager, presented her report on the activities at the Monticello Library. The
Library Board discussed the additional ten hours per week of staff time for the library that was
approved for 2007. The Monticello library will host the Anime Club which will be meet the first
Monday of the month starting in September and going through May. Animee is Japanese
animation. Currently there are two Animee Club programs one for teens and one far pre-teens. The
Monticello Library received a grant for Dia de los Ninos/Dia de los Libros.
