6. CONSIDERATION OF A STORM SEWER CHARGE UPDATE
Ken Maus, Tom Lindquist & Jay Morrell met with the Mayor and
Rick Wolfsteller of the City. The city has sent out a survey to other
communities to see what they are doing with regard to similar matters.
The Mayor and Mr. Wolfsteller were very defensive with regard to
this matter and did not feel there is a problem and that the industrial
park will grow regardless. Much discussion followed and it was
determined that Group II of the IDC needs to develop a plan with
regard to identifying the gap that exists between industry and the
City.
7. OTHER BUSINESS
Ollie Koropchak informed the IDC of some inquiries she received
from businesses interested in locating in Monticello. Tom Lindquist
recommended that Group I of the IDC make personal contact with
these businesses.
8. ADJOURN
There being no further business the general meeting was adjourned
by Vice Chair, Tom Lindquist and the members broke up into their
sub-committees.
Respectfully Submitted;
Tom Ollig, IDC Secretary
