STREETS AND PARKS COMMISSION MEETING
February 18, 19'76 - 6:30 P.M.
Members present: Arve Grimsmo, Dale Lungwitz,
Harvey Kendall, Milton Olson.
Members absent: Bob Rierson.
Mike Gair of Howard Dahlgren and Associates reviewed proposed
plans with commission.
Following were recommendations of the commission:
4th Street Park
Skating area should be so sloped to allow for drainage
and also a ridge created for the perimeter of the ice.
West Bridge Park
1. Change parking area for campers to an open area rather
than providing individual islands
2. Road should be placed closer to river to serve as
safety barrier for children.
Meeting set for March 9, 1976 at 7:30 P.M. to review final
proposed plans.
