SPECIAL MEETING - MONTICELLO CITY COUNCIL
Monday, February 26, 1996 - 6:30 p.m.
Members Present: Brad Fyle, Shirley Anderson, Clint Herbst, Brian Stumpf, Tom
Perrault
Members Absent: None
A special meeting of the City Council was held for the purpose of reviewing the
draft of the comprehensive guide plan submitted by Steve Grittman of Northwest
Associated Consultants.
Grittman reviewed the goals and policies established from previous meetings and
noted the corrections and clarifications that would be made for the final document.
Assistant Administrator Jeff O'Neill reported that after Council acceptance of the
proposed updates to the comprehensive plan, the Planning Commission will hold a
public hearing. Once the final document is adopted, each city commission will
create a 1-5 year work plan, which will be presented to Council in the future.
After discussion, it was the consensus of Council to accept the changes to the
comprehensive plan as described by Grittman and forward the item to the Planning
Commission for the public hearing process.
There being no further business, the special meeting was adjourned.
