RESOLUTION NO. 2015-054
ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE 2015 STREET
PAVEMENT MARKING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has solicited quotes for the 2015 Street Pavement Marking Project
according to the plans and specifications provided to the public. Quotes were received, opened,
and tabulated, and were found to comply with said plans and specifications:

WHEREAS, the quote submitted by Century Fence Company, Forest Lake, Minnesota, in the
amount of $15,928.20 for the 2015 Street Pavement Marking Project, in accordance with the
plans and specifications, was the lowest responsible quote and shall be and 'hereby is accepted.
NOW TrIERET'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELL 0,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk,
are hereby approved.
2. Quotes submitted for the project according to the plans and specifications are hereby
accepted.
3. The total cost of the project is dependent on the exact linear feet for Chelsea Road and
East 7th Street project areas.
4. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
said company for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of
Monticello.
5. The Public Works Department shall direct and inspect the project.
