RESOLUTION NO. 2010-61
AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF A CHARITABLE GAMBLING PERMIT
FOR THE MONTICELLO LIONS CLUB
WHEREAS, the Monticello Lions Club has submitted an application to the City Council of
Monticello for a charitable gambling Premises Permit to conduct gambling activities at Beef
O'Bradys, a sports bar and restaurant located at 254 West Broadway in Monticello, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Council is not opposed to the gambling permit being issued by the State Gambling
Control Board;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the application by the
Monticello Lions Club for a charitable gambling permit to conduct gambling activities at Beef
O'Bradys is hereby approved and the State Gambling Control Board is authorized to process the
application.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 27th day of September, 2010.
