The special meeting was called to order by Mayor Clint Herbst at 6:42 p.m.
Purpose of Meeting: Canvass results of the election recount from November 21St,
2014
JO called for the canvassing of the election recount.
Canvass recount results
Cathy Shuman handed out certified copy of the recount results from Wright County. She

eviewed the results of the canvass and noted that the manual recount resulted in a slight
change in the total votes for both candidates, with Charlotte Gabler receiving 1,465 votes
and Jim Davidson receiving 1,458 votes. If Council agrees with the results of the
recount, they should adopt the resolution recertifying the results of the election.
Consideration of adopting Resolution #2014 -117 approving the canvass of the
election recount and recertifying the 2014 General Election results
CLINT HERBST MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION #2014 -117 APPROVING THE
CANVASS OF THE ELECTION RECOUNT AND RECERTIFY THE 2014 GENERAL
ELECTION RESULTS AS FOLLOWS. TOM PERRAULT SECONDED THE
MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0.
