RESOLUTION NO. 2011-14
UPDATING THE
MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET SYSTEM
FOR THE CITY OF MONTICELLO
WHEREAS, as a requisite for the City to be eligible to receive state aid funds, it is necessary that the
City Council designate certain streets within the City of Monticello to comprise a Municipal State
Aid Street (MSAS) system; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the recommendation of the City Engineer and has approved
certain streets within the City to be removed or added to said MSAS system;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Monticello that:
1. That East River Street from Pine Street/TH 25 to Palm Street shall be removed from the City
of Monticello MSAS System.
2. That Palm Street from East Broadway to East River Street shall be added to the City of
Monticello MSAS system.
3. That Palm Street from 4th Street to East Broadway shall be added to the City of Monticello
MSAS system.
4. That the City Administrator/Clerk provide a certified copy of this resolution by May 1, 2011
for transmittal to the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation.
