RESOLUTION NO. 2011-51
ACCEPTING PROPOSALS AND AWARDING CONTRACT
2011 STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 11C002
WHEREAS, pursuant to a Request for Proposals for the 2011 Street Lighting Improvements
project, proposals for designing, constructing and maintaining said improvements were received
and the following bids were found to comply with the Request for Proposals:
CONTRACTOR BIDS
Design and Construction Maintenance
Wright -Hennepin Services $264,585 $357.75/month
WHEREAS, the bid of Wright -Hennepin Services of Rockford, MN in the amount of $264,585
for the design and construction of said 2011 Street Lighting Improvements, in accordance with
the Request for Proposal, minus surface restoration and irrigation repair costs, shall be and
hereby is accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the 2011 surface restoration unit pricing sheet as attached to the bid of Wright -
Hennepin Services of Rockford, MN for said 2011 Street Lighting Improvements, in accordance
with the Request for Proposal, shall be and hereby is accepted;
WHEREAS, the bid of Wright -Hennepin Services of Rockford, MN in the amount of $357.75
per month for the maintenance of said 2011 Street Lighting Improvements, in accordance with
the Request for Proposal, shall be and hereby is accepted;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MONTICELLO:
The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with said bidder for the design, construction and maintenance of said
improvements, for and on behalf of the City of Monticello.
