RESOLUTION NO. 2011-62
APPROVING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH XCEL ENERGY FOR
ROADWAY RIGHT OF WAY EASEMENT FOR 120TH STREET NE
WHEREAS, 120th Street NE will be realigned as part of Wright County's County State Aid
Highway (CSAR) 75 realignment project, SAP 086-675-013; and
WHEREAS, Xcel Energy (dba NSP) owns the property occupied by 120th Street NE between
Interstate Highway 94 and CSAH 75; and
WHEREAS, Xcel Energy is currently granting the City of Monticello a roadway right of way
easement for the existing alignment of this section of 120th Street NE; and
WHEREAS, Xcel Energy and the City of Monticello have agreed to vacate the existing roadway
right of way easement and establish a new roadway right of way easement to accommodate the
realignment of 120th Street NE as defined in said Cooperative Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Monticello,
Minnesota, said Cooperative Agreement outlining the exchange of real estate interests for the
realignment of 120 Street NE with Wright County's CSAH 75 project is hereby approved.
ADOPTED BY the Monticello City Council this 11th day of July, 2011.
