RESOLUTION NO. 2012-009
PARTIAL VACATION OF UTILITY EASEMENTS
LOT 8, BLOCK 1, MEADOW OAK 4TH ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello did conduct a public hearing on February 26, 1996 to vacate
utility easements along the southern boundary of Lot 8, Block 1, Meadow Oak 4`h Addition; and
WHEREAS, the minutes of said public hearing show record of approval of vacation of five �5)
feet of the utility easement along the southern boundary of Lot 8, Block I of Meadow Oak 4 '
Addition, based on the finding that the area south of the lot will never be developed as a roadway
and the lot did not qualify as a corner lot; and
WHEREAS, the Lot Surveyors Certificate #719 -52 dated March 13, 1996, for Lot 8, Block 1,
Meadow Oak 4"' Addition shows the vacated utility easement as approved.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA: that the following described utility easements be vacated:
The Southerly 5.00 feet of Lot 8, Block 1, Meadow Oak 4`h Addition extending for a
distance of 125.01 feet, according to the recorded plat thereof on file in Wright County,
Minnesota.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that a home may be built on the lot
using 15 -foot setbacks between structures.
ADOPTED BY the Monticello City Council this 9`h day of January, 2012.
