ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR MCC NATATORIUM
IMPROVEMENTS

WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the making of improvements to the
Monticello Community Center Natatorium and other necessary appurtenant work, bids were
received, opened, and tabulated, and the following bids were found to comply with the
advertisement for bids:

WHEREAS, the bid of Ebert Construction Company of Corcoran, MN in the amount of
$1,283,300 for the total base bid with City Council approved alternates for the construction of
said improvements, in accordance with the plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is
the lowest responsible bidder and shall be and hereby is accepted, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREB YRESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MONTICELLO:
The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of
the City of Monticello.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been executed.
