AUTHORIZING FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR
2012 RURAL ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 12CO01
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the rural road segments identified below by rehabilitating
the pavement sections including the adjustment, construction, overlay, reclamation, removal,
and /or repair of existing pavement, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water supply systems, adjacent
pathways, and other necessary appurtenant work, and to assess the benefitting properties for all
or a portion of the cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
• Edmonson Avenue - Chelsea Road to City limits
• Fallon Avenue - School Boulevard to 85th Street NE
• Fenning Avenue - School Boulevard to 850' Street NE
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO UNCIL OF MONTICELL0,
MINNESOTA: That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for study with
assistance from WSB & Associates, and that the City Engineer is instructed to report back to the
Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the
proposed improvement is necessary, cost- effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made
as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; and the estimated cost of the
improvement as recommended.
