RESOLUTION NO. 2012-042
ACCEPTING PROPOSAL AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE XCEL
BALLFIELD LIGHTING RELAMP PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has solicited quotes for a lighting re -lamp project at the Xcel Ballfield
complex according to the plans and specifications provided to the public. One quote was
received, opened, and tabulated, and was found to comply with said plans and specifications:
CONTRACTOR TOTAL BASE QUOTE
Musco Sports Lighting $11,600 (plus tax)
WHEREAS, the quote submitted by Musco Sports Lighting LLC, in the amount of $11,600 for
re- lamping and cleaning 116 light fixtures, in accordance with the plans and specifications, was
the lowest responsible quote and shall be and hereby is accepted.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA:
Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk,
are hereby approved.
2. Quote submitted for the project according to the plans and specifications are hereby
accepted.
3. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
said company for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of
Monticello.
4. The Public Works Department shall direct and inspect the project.
