RESOLUTION NO. 2012-059
APPROVING CONVEYANCE OF THREE PARCELS OF TAX - FORFEITED
LAND TO THE CITY OF MONTICELLO AND FORMALLY ESTABLISHING
AUTHORIZED PUBLIC USE OF SAID PARCELS:
PID 155- 010 - 072100 (Lot 10, Block G, Original Town)
PID 155- 109 - 000010 (Outlot A, River Mill 3rd)
PID 155- 126 - 000030 (Outlot C, River Forest 2nd)
WHEREAS, parcels of land in the City of Monticello identified as 155-010-072100,155-109-
000010, and 155- 126 - 000030 have been forfeited to the State of Minnesota for non - payment of
taxes and are being prepared for public auction under MN State Statutes Chapter 282; and
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello has an interest in acquiring these three parcel of tax - forfeited
property for the following authorized public uses:
155- 010 - 072100 — city utility easement
155- 109 - 000010 — trail system link between River Mill Park and River Ridge Lane
155- 126 - 000030 — entrance monument for River Forest Addition
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OFMONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA: that parcels 155- 010 - 072100, 155- 109 - 000010, and 155- 126 - 000030 be
conveyed to the City of Monticello for public purposes.
ADOPTED BYthe Monticello City Council this 25th day of June, 2012.
