ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
REPLACEMENT OF FLOORING IN THE MISSISSIPPI BANQUET ROOM OF THE
MONTICELLO COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, pursuant to a Request for Proposals /Quotes for the replacement of flooring in the
Mississippi Room of the Monticello Community Center including removing old flooring and
purchasing and installing new flooring, and other necessary appurtenant work, quotes were
received, opened, and tabulated, and the following quotes were found to comply with the
Request for Proposals /Quotes:

WHEREAS, the quote of Anderson's New Carpet Design of Fridley, MN in the amount of
$16,451.28 for the total quote for said improvements, in accordance with the Request for
Proposals /Quotes, is the lowest responsible quote and shall be and hereby is accepted.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OFMONTICELLO:
The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Anderson's New Carpet Design for the replacement of flooring in the Mississippi Banquet
Room for and on behalf of the City of Monticello.
ADOPTED BYthe Monticello City Council this 13th day of August, 2012.
