A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO THE
MONTICELLO ZONING ORDINANCE CHAPTER 2, SECTION 4 — SPECIFIC
REVIEW PROCEDURE & REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
AMENDMENTS AND ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello has adopted a zoning ordinance providing for the specific
review procedures and requirements for land use applications; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a public hearing on April 2nd, 2013 to
review the request and receive public comment on the proposed amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Monticello finds that the amendment to
the zoning ordinance will be consistent with State Statutes 462.355 for the adoption and
amendment of the comprehensive plan; and State Statute 462.357 governing the official controls
of the zoning ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of
Monticello, Minnesota:
The Planning Commission recommends that the City Council adopt the zoning ordinance
amendment revising permitted accessory uses in business districts in Ordinance No. 570.
ADOPTED this 2nd day of Apri12013, by the Planning Commission of the City of Monticello,
Minnesota.
