RESOLUTION NO. 2013-016
CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR
WEST 7TH STREET EXTENSION (MINNESOTA TO ELM)
CITY PROJECT NO. 12CO02
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted August 27, 2012, a feasibility report
has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to proposed improvements to West 7th
Street between Minnesota Street and Elm Street, including the construction of streets, pathways,
sidewalks, curb and gutter, street and pathway lighting, stormwater ponds, public utilities, and
other appurtenant work; and,
WHEREAS, the feasibility report was received and accepted by the City Council on March 25,
2013; and,
WHEREAS, on March 25th the City Council called for a public hearing to be held on April 8,
2013 as related to said improvements; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Council action taken on March 25, 2013, directing staff to meet with
property owners to develop one or more alternate bids with the proposed improvements;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBYRESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
The date of the public hearing on such proposed improvements shall be moved from the
8th day of April to the 22'd day of April, 2013, and said meeting shall be held in the
Council Chambers of City Hall at 7 p.m. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published
notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
