RESOLUTION NO. 2013-063
CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON VACATING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY
EASEMENTS FOR PORTIONS OF LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 1, PINE VIEW ADDITION
PID 155- 204 - 001020 and 155- 204 - 001030
WHEREAS, a petition was received on August 9th, 2013, requesting vacation of drainage and utility
easements between Lots 2 and 3, Block 3 of Pine View Addition, and included as Attachment "A "; and
WHEREAS, the Monticello City Council, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 412.851 and 462.358, desires
to consider the vacation of drainage and utility easements over and across the following property
legally described as follows:
The drainage and utility easement across the Southeasterly 6.00 feet of Lot 2, Block 1 and the
Northwesterly 6.00 feet of Lot 3 of said Block 1 in Pine View, according to the recorded plat
thereof, Wright County, Minnesota, lying southwesterly of the Northeasterly 12.00 feet of said
Lots 2 and 3 and lying northeasterly of the Southwesterly 12.00 feet of Lots 2 and 3.
NO W THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED B Y THE CITY CO UNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the vacation of such easements and a public hearing shall be held
on such proposed vacation on the 23rd day of September, 2013, before the City Council in
the Council Chambers located at the Monticello Community Center at 7 p.m.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give published, posted and mailed notice of such
hearing as required by law.
