RESOLUTION NO. 2013-075
APPROVING A PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR
BRIDGE NO. 86526 IN THE CITY OF MONTICELLO
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello has constructed and owns a pedestrian bridge over Trunk
Highway No. I -94 within the Monticello city limits; and
WHEREAS, a formal agreement with the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation is
required to address the operation and maintenance responsibilities of the pedestrian bridge;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OFMONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA: that the City of Monticello shall enter into a Maintenance Agreement with the
MN Department of Transportation for said pedestrian bridge.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to
execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
ADOPTED BY the Monticello City Council this 23rd day of September, 2013.
