RESOLUTION NO. 2013-094
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MONTICELLO, FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED
MODIFICATION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
FOR CENTRAL MONTICELLO REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT NO. 1 AND THE PROPOSED MODIFICATION
OF THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR TAX
INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 1-6 CONFORM
TO THE GENERAL PLANS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Monticello has authorized preparation of a
modification of the Redevelopment Program (the "Redevelopment Program ") for Central
Monticello Redevelopment Project No. 1 (the "Redevelopment Project ") and the modification of the
Tax Increment Financing Plan (the "TIF Plan ") for Tax Increment Financing District No. 1 -6 within
the Redevelopment Project, and the proposed modifications to the Redevelopment Program and the
TIF Plan have been submitted to the Planning Commission for comment; and
WHEREAS, .the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed modifications to the
Redevelopment Program and the TIF Plan and has compared them with the plans for development
of the City as a whole.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Planning Commission of the City of
Monticello, Minnesota as follows:
1. The proposed modifications to the Redevelopment Program and the TIF Plan are found to
be consistent with the plans for development of the City as a whole, including without
limitation the Embracing Downtown Monticello Plan approved by the City in 2011, which
prioritizes redevelopment of the downtown area of the City.
2. It is recommended that the City Council hold the public hearing required by law and adopt
the proposed modifications to the Redevelopment Program and the TIF Plan.

EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA
HELD: November 4, 2013
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the
City of Monticello, Wright County, Minnesota, was duly held at the Monticello City Hall on
Monday, the 4th day of November, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose, in part, of adopting
findings that the proposed modification of the Redevelopment Program for Central Monticello
Redevelopment Project No. 1 and the proposed modification of the Tax Increment Financing
Plan for Tax Increment Financing District No. 1 -6 conform to the general plans for the City.
The following Commission members were present: Chairman William Spartz, Sam Burvee,
Charlotte Gabler, Grant Sala
and the following were absent: Brad Fyle
Commissioner Burvee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner
Gabler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor: William Spartz, Sam Burvee, Charlotte Gabler, Grant Sala
and the following voted against the same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
