RESOLUTION NO. 2013-102
APPROVING A TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL AGREEMENT WITH THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR BATTERY BACKUPS
FOR 7TH STREET AND OAKWOOD DRIVE INTERSECTIONS AT HWY 25
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello has requested Mn/DOT to install battery backups into the
signals at 7th Street and Oakwood Drive where they intersect with TH 25;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Monticello enter into Mn/DOT
Agreement No. 04863 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the
following purposes:
To provide for payment by the City to the State of the city's share of the costs of the
Traffic Control Signals construction and other associated construction to be performed
upon, along and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 25 at Oakwood Drive (Signal System
"B ") and on Trunk Highway No. 25 at 7th Street (Signal System "C ") within the corporate
City limits under State Project No. 8680 -158.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to
execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
