RESOLUTION NO. 2014-044
APPROVING PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT
FOR SWAN RIVER CHARTER SCHOOL
WHEREAS, the Monticello Planning Commission held a public hearing on April 4, 2014, for
the consideration of Concept and Development Stage Planned Unit Development for a K -12
Educational Institution in an R -3 (Medium Density Residence) District and CCD (Central
Community District) for Swan River Montessori; and
WHEREAS, after taking public comment, the Planning Commission recommended approval of
the Concept and Development Stage Planned Unit Development and PUD rezoning to the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, a request was made by Swan River Building Committee for approval of Final Stale
Planned Unit Development and an agreement prepared for Planned Unit Development and
Development Contract for Swan River Charter School;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA, that the Planned Unit Development and Development Contract for Swan River
Charter School is hereby approved, subject to conditions of approval for PUD development as
stated in the development agreement.
