RESOLUTION NO. 2014-065
ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR A WIRELESS
TELECOMMUNICATIONS MONOPOLE
CITY PROJECT NO. ZTOWER
WHEREAS, the City has solicited bids for construction and/or erection of a Wireless Telecom
Monopole according to the plans and specifications provided to the public. Bids were received,
opened, and tabulated, and were found to comply with said plans and specifications:
WHEREAS, the bid submitted by Structural Tower Services, of Becker, Minnesota, in the amount of
$118,933.00, for the complete turnkey construction and erection for a Wireless Telecom Monopole,
City Project No. ZTOWER, in accordance with the plans and specifications, was the lowest
responsible bid and shall be hereby accepted.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OFMONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, are
hereby approved.
2. Bids submitted for the project according to the plans and specifications are hereby accepted.
3. The City Administrator and Mayor are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with said company for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of
Monticello.

WHEREAS, the bid submitted by Structural Tower Services, of Becker, Minnesota, in the amount of

City Project No. ZTOWER, in accordance with the plans and specifications, was the lowest
responsible bid and shall be hereby accepted.

4. WSB and the City engineering department shall direct and inspect the project with assistance
from Ulteig Engineering, Design 1, and American Engineering Testing (AET).
