RESOLUTION NO. 2014-099
ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS AND APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE
WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS MONOPOLE,
CITY PROJECT NO. ZTOWER
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract which the City of Monticello awarded to Structural Tower
Services of Becker, Minnesota, the contractor has satisfactorily completed the work for the Wireless
Telecommunications Monopole and appurtenant work in accordance with the contract; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF MONTICELL 0, MINNESOTA that
the work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved and that the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby directed to issue a proper order for the final payment in the amount of $47,573.20
on such contract, subject to receipt of the following:
1) Satisfactory showing that the contractor has complied with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes
290.92 requiring withholding state income tax;
2) Evidence in the form of an affidavit that all claims against the contractor by reasons of the
contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured;
3) Consent of Surety to Final Payment certification from the contractor's surety; and
4) Three year maintenance bond starting from the date of final acceptance by the City Council.
5) As -built drawings of the foundation and ground grid.
