RESOLUTION NO. 2014-110
APPROVING COOPERATIVE CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT #06675 WITH THE
STATE OF MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR CITY COST
SHARE OF IMPROVEMENTS AND ASSOCIATED CONSTRUCTION FOR TRUNK
HIGHWAY 25 EXPANSION, STATE PROJECT NO. 8605-50 AND S.A.P. 222 -010 -004
WHEREAS, the Monticello City Council adopted Resolution #2013 -001 on January 28, 2013
approving municipal consent for MnDOT's staff - approved layout for proposed improvements to
State Trunk Highway 25; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will perform grading, bituminous mill
and overlay, turn lane, ADA improvements, signal system construction, and other associated
construction to be conducted under State Project No. 8605 -50 for State Trunk Highway 25;
NO W THEREFORE, RE IT RESOL VED R Y THE CITY CO UI NCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA: that the City of Monticello enter into MnDOT Agreement No. 06675 with the
State of Minnesota Department of Transportation for the following purpose
The City shall provide payment to the State for the city's share of the costs of the work to
be performed upon, along and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 25 from 2520 feet south of
C.R. 106 to T.H. 94 within the corporate city limits as part of State Project 8605 -50 and
S.A.P. 222 -010 -004.
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the City Administrator are hereby
authorized to execute this Agreement and amendments to the Agreement.
