CANVASSING ELECTION RETURNS AND DECLARING RESULTS OF THE
2014 GENERAL ELECTION FOR CITY OF MONTICELLO MAYOR
AND COUNCIL MEMBER OFFICES
WHEREAS, the Deputy City Clerk/Elections Administrator has duly presented to the City
Council the results tapes of ballots cast in the November 4th, 2014 General Election, and election
summary statements have been sworn to by the Judges of the Election; and
WHEREAS, the total votes cast for the municipal offices voted upon are as follows:
For Mavor (2 vear term

For Council Member (2 elected for 4 year terms)

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA, that the totals listed above are deemed to be correct, the
election is deemed to be valid, and the winners of the election are declared to be as follows:
For Mayor (2 year term): Brian Stumpf
For Council Member (4 year term): Lloyd Hilgart
Charlotte Gabler
