A SUMMARY ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 10 OF THE MONTICELLO CITY
CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SECTION 3.4(I) — R-4, MEDIUM-
HIGH DENSITY RESIDENCE DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on April 28, 2014, Ordinance No. 594 was adopted
by the City Council of the City of Monticello, Minnesota. Due to the lengthy nature of
Ordinance No. 594, the following Summary Ordinance No. 594A has been prepared for
publication as authorized by state law.
The ordinance adopted by the Council amends Title 10 of the Monticello City Code. The
general purpose of the ordinance amendment is to amend the R-4 Zoning District definition to
provide for standards and locations for high density residential housing with changes to the
following section:
Section 3.4(I): R-4 - Medium -High Density Residence District
• Updates to Purpose
• Replacement Land Uses
• Proximity to Other Residential Neighborhoods
• Architectural Compatibility and Building Massing
• Requirement for Adequate Public Facilities

the City's regular office hours. The complete ordinance will be posted on the City's website
following publication.
