RESOLUTION NO. 2008-31
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, Monticello Lions Club has submitted an application to the City Council of Monticello
for a charitable gambling license to conduct gambling activities at Chatters at 4181 Cedar Street and
River City Extreme at 3875 School Boulevard;
WHEREAS, the Council is not opposed to the gambling license being issued by the State Gambling
Control Board,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the application by the
Monticello Lions Club for a charitable gambling license to conduct gambling activities at Chatters at
4181 Cedar Street and River City Extreme located at 3875 School Boulevard is hereby approved and
the State Gambling Control Board is authorized to process the appli; a +,ion.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 10 day of April, 2008.
