RESOLUTION NO. 2008-18
ACCEPTING WORK
CEDAR STREET/DUNDAS ROAD
CITY PROJECT NO. 2006-02C
WHERE,4S, pursuant to a written contract with the City of Monticello awarded to Latour
Construction of Maple Lake, Minnesota the contractor has satisfactorily completed the work for the
reconstruction of Cedar Street from Dundas Road to Chelsea Road and the construction of Dundas
Road from Cedar Street to Edmonson Avenue including sidewalk, street lighting, storm sewer and
other appurtenant work in accordance with the contract;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OFMONTICELLO, MIME,S'OTA that
the work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved and that the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby directed to issue a proper order for the final payment on such contraet subject to
receipt of the following: 1) Satisfactory showing that the contractor has complied with the provisions
of Minnesota Statutes 290.92 requiring withholding state income taut; 2) Evidence in the form of an
affidavit that all claims against the contractor by reasons of the contract have been fially paid or
satisfactorily secured; 3) Consent of Surety to Final Paym. ent certification from the contractor's
surety; and 4) Two year maintenance bond to start from the date of final acceptance of the project by
the City Council.
