RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2009 BUDGET AND
SLATTING THE TAX LEVY
WHEREAS, the Finance Director has prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget setting forth therein his
estimated needs of the City of Monticello for all operations and the debt service for the fiscal year commencing
January i, 2009 and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the some and has made such changes therein as appear to be in the best
Interest of the City of Monticello:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO that the budget so
submitted by the Finance Director, together with the changes made therein by the City Council, be and some hereby
Is adopted as a budget for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 2009; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Monticello that there be and hereby is levied for the fiscal
year commencing January i , 2009, and the following sums for ire respective pub indicated therein upon the
taxable property of the City of Monticello, to wit:
The above resolution was introduced by Counclimember Wayne Mayer, was duly seconded by Councilmember Brian
Stumpf, with the following voting in favor thereof: Herbst, Mayer, Stumpf and Wojchousid
The following voting In the opposition: Perrault
The City Administrator is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the
County Auditor of Wright County, Minnesota.
Adopted this 8th day of December, 2008.
