RESOLUTION NO. 2008-91
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRIBUTIONS
SEAS, the City of Monticello is generally authorized to accept contributions
of real and personal property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 465.03 and 465.04
for the benefit of its citizens and is specifically authorized to maintain such property for
the benefit of its citizens in accordance with the terms prescribed by the donor. Said gifts
may be limited under provisions of MN Statutes Section 471.895.
WHEREAS, the following persons and or entities have offered to contribute
contributions or gifts to the City as listed:
WHEREAS, all said contributions are intended to aid the City in establishing
facilities, operations or programs within the city's jurisdiction either alone or in
cooperation with others, as allowed by law; and
VVEOMEAS, the City Council hereby funds that it is appropriate to accept the
contributions offered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Monticello as
follows:
1. The contributions described above are hereby accepted by the City of
Monticello.
2. The contributions described above will be used as designated by the
donor. This may entail reimbursing or allocating the money to another
entity that will utilize the funds for the following stated purpose:
