Parks Commission Agenda Packet 01-21-1992 . . . CONSULTANT EVALUATION WEST BRIDGE PARK WARMING HOUSE PROPOSALS January 15, 1992 Based on services provided for a lump sum bid, each architectural/ engineering firm has strengths and weaknesses compared to the others. Many of the items which would result in extra cost are either equal or not addressed. (Not addressing an item would appear to be an opening for an extra.) TKDA would appear to be the leader in strengths based on experience, capabilities, bidding assistance, and cost. The weaknesses of TKDA's proposal lie in structural calculation and shop drawing review at an extra cost along with project meetings and pay request to be done by the City. RCM had listed minor services not provided by TKDA, but their bid was higher, and electrical and mechanical capabilities were listed as limited. OSM had the highest bid proposal with the only advantage being reference to heating. TKDA would appear to be the best service for cost value to the City. Analysis by: Tom Bose 1/15/92 .
