RESOLUTION NO. 2007-13
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION
OF PLANS AND SPECIMCATIONS
2007 CORE STREET RECONSTRUCTION) PROJECT NO. 2007-01C
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 26th day of February, 2007 fixed a date for
a council hearing on the proposed improvement to Area 3 of the Street Reconstruction Program
including River Street from Craig Lane to CSAH 75, Craig Lane, Kenneth Lane, Hillcrest Road,
Hillcrest Circle, Hilltop Drive, Matthew Circle and on River Street from CSAH 75 to the city
ballfields by widening the streets, street reconstruction including milling and overlay, curb and gutter,
sidewalk, storm sewer, extension of sanitary sewer and water main along River Street in the area of
the ballfields, replacement of sanitary sewer on Craig Lane and other necessary appurtenant work;
WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice or the hearing was given and the
hearing was held thereon on March 12, 2007 at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW THEREFEFORE, BE IT.HEREBYRESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO, MIlâ–ºT WSOTA:
1. Such improvement is necessary, cost - effective and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted the 2e
day of February 2007.
3. WSB & Associates Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The
engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
4. The City Council declares its official intent to reimburse itself for the costs of the
improvement from the proceeds of the tax exempt bond.
Adopted by the City Council of Monticello this 1P day of March, 2007.
