RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PRREPARATION OF PLANS
CHELSEA ROAD IMPROVEMENT FROM CSAH 18 TO FALLON AVENUE
CITY PROJECT NO. 2006-31C
WHF�EAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 22nd day of January 2007 fixed a date for a
council hearing on the proposed improvement of Chelsea Road from CSAH 18 to Fallon Avenue by
reconstruction to an urban design, storm sewer and other appurtenant work and the redesign of the
Chelsea RoaMallon Avenue intersection; and
WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given and the
hearing was held thereon on the 12'h day of February 2007 at which time all persons desiring to be
heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon,
NOW TEREFOEE, BE IT HEREBY BESOLYED BY ZHE CITY COUNCIL OF 771E CITY
OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is necessary, cost - effective and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted the 12m
day February, 2007.
3. WSB and Associates is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer
shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
4. The City Council declares its official intent to reimburse itself for the costs of the
improvement from the proceeds of the tax exempt bond.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this I day of February 2007.
