RESOLU'T'ION AWARDING CONTRACT
PAINTING OF MONTE KILL WATER TOWER
PROJECT NO. 2007-05C
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the painting and miscellaneous repairs for the
water tower identified as the Monte Hill Water Tower, City Project No. 2007 -05C, bids were received,
opened, tabulated and the following bids were found to comply with the advertisement for bids:

WHETS, the bid of Odland Protective Coatings in the amount of $221,000.00 for the construction
of said improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications and advertisement for bids is the
lowest responsible bidder and shall be and hereby is accepted, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO.
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of
Monticello.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been executed.
