Special meeting notice
4ItA special meeting of the Monticello Parks Commission has been set for
Wednesday, February 5, at 4:30 p.m. The proposed agenda is as follows:
1. Recei ve staff update on process of selecting consultant to
conduct feasibility study on development of water park.
2. Review Council action on the West Bridge Park warming house
project.
3. Review Council request that the Parks Commission develop a
City policy outlining City participation in development and
operation of an ice arena.
At the most recent meeting of the City Council on January 27,
1992, the City Council received input from a number of people
regarding City participation in development of an ice arena.
It appears that this group was stimulated to attend the
meeting by the potential development of a water park. In
response to the hockey representatives, the City Council
requested that the Parks Commission study the matter and
determine to what extent the City should be applying resources
toward development of an ice arena.
