RESOLUTION NO. 2007-96
ACCEPTING WORK
CHELSEA ROAD EXTENSION (90TH STREET TO CSAH 39) AND
IDALTON AVENUE (CHELSEA RD TO 1330 FEET SOUTH)
CITY PROJECT NO. 2005-11C
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract with the City of Monticello awarded to R.L. Larson of St.
Cloud, Minnesota the contractor has satisfactorily completed improvements for the extension of
Chelsea Road (90t1h Street to CSAH 39) and Dalton Avenue (Chelsea Road to 1,330 feet south), City
Project No. 2005 -11C in accordance with the contract;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, MINESOTA that
the work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved and that the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby directed to issue a proper order for the final payment on such contract subject to
receipt of the following: 1) Satisfactory showing that the contractor has complied with the provisions
of Minnesota Statutes 290.92 requiring withholding state income tax; 2) Evidence in the form of an
affidavit that all claims against the contractor by reasons of the contract have been fully paid or
satisfactorily secured; 3) Consent of Surety to Final Payment certification from the contractor's
surety-, 4) Two year maintenance bond to start from the date of final acceptance of the project by the
City Council and 5) Letter from R.L. Larson Excavating, Inc. indicating they will complete additional
lift station items (re- painting of control panel and supplying space heaters for the starters in the
control panel).
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 13a' day of November, 2007.
