VACATING A PORTION OF CEDAR STREET
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the vacation of a portion of Cedar Street right -of -way as described below
was held on October 22, 20070 7 p.m. at the Monticello City Hall:
That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 14, Township
121, Range 25, Wright County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the
northeast corner of said Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence South
00 degrees 00 minutes 30 seconds East, assumed bearing, along the east line of
said Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, a distance of 586.50 feet to the
south line of the north 586.37 feet of said Northeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter as measured at a right angle to the north line thereof; thence South 88
degrees 47 minutes 23 seconds West along said south line of the north 586.37 feet,
a distance of 963.45 to the easterly right of way line of Old State Highway 25;
thence South 27 degrees 47 minutes 25 seconds West, along said easterly right of
way line, a distance of 65.08 feet to the point of beginning of the parcel to be
described; thence northwesterly along a non - tangential curve, concave to the
northeast, having a radius of 698.00 feet and a central angle of 0 degrees 33
minutes 46 seconds, a distance of 6.85 feet, the chord of said curve bears North
68 degrees 26 minutes 27 seconds West, distant 6.85 feet; thence South 27
degrees 24 minutes 01 seconds West, a distance of 594.59 feet; thence
southwesterly along a tangential curve, concave to the southeast, having a radius of
414.00 feet and a central angle of 4 degrees 37 minutes 23 seconds, a distance
of 33.40 feet; thence South 22 degrees 46 minutes 39 seconds West, tangent to
said curve a distance of 13.67 feet to said easterly right of way line of Old State
Highway 25; thence North 27 degrees 47 minutes 25 seconds East, along said
easterly right of way line, a distance of 642.29 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing: 2,933 s.f
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOL YED BY THE CITY COUNCLEOFMONT.ICELLO,
AMWESOTA that the street right -of -way as described above is vacated contingent upon the City retaining
any easements contained within the described right -of -way and upon platting of the property.
