RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS
PROJECT NO. 2005-03C
COUNTY ROAD 39 LIFT STATIONS AND FORCEMAIN
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the extension of sanitary sewer and water
main along CSAH 39 and construction of necessary lift stations to serve the Hidden Forest/Niagara
Falls development and other appurtenant work, bids were received, opened and tabulated according
to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
WHEREAS, it appears that Volk Sewer and Water, Inc. from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota is the
lowest responsible bidder;

OF MOA77CELL0, MINIYE'SOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Volk
Sewer and Water, Inc. in the name of the City of Monticello for the extension of sanitary
sewer adn water main along CSAH 39 and construction of necessary lift stations to serve
the Hidden Forest/Niagara Falls development and other appurtenant work according to the
plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the Office of
the City CIerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
