RESOLUTION AWARDING BMS

MEADOW OAKS AND CSAH 39 LIFT STATION AND FORCEMAIN IMPROVMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the reconstruction of the Meadow Oaks and
CSAH 39 lift stations and the construction of forcemain and gravity flow sanitary sewer and other
appurtenant work, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:
WHEREAS, it appears that Barbarossa and Sons, Inc. from Osseo, Minnesota is the lowest responsible
bidder,
No THEREFORE, BE IT BEREBYRESOLVED BY 7IE Cn7 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONUCELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
Barbarossa and Sons, Inc. in the name of the City of Monticello for the improvement of the
Meadow Oaks and CSAH 39 lift stations and construction of forcernain and gravity flow
sanitary sewer and other appurtenant work according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorizer) and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that the deposit of the sucoessfnl bidder and the next lowest bidder
shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 8a` day of May, 2006.
