RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
CEDAR STREET AND DUNDAS ROAD
CITY PROJECT NO. 2006-02C
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Cedar Street from Chelsea
Road to Dundas Road and Dundas Road from Cedar Street to Edmonson Avenue by construction of
street improvements, sidewalk, storm sewer, utility improvements and street lighting, bids were
received opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with
the advertisement:
WHEREAS, it appears that LaTour Construction, Inc. of Maple Lake, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MIMVESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract
with LaTour Construction, Inc. of Maple Lake, Minnesota in the name of the City of
Monticello for the improvement of Cedar Street from Chelsea Road to Dundas Road and
Dundas Road from Cedar Street to Edmonson Avenue by construction of street
improvements, sidewalk, storm sewer, utility improvements and street lighting according to
the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of
the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest
bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
